About Suwannee Country Club
Welcome to the Suwannee Country Club, home of the Live Oak Open. Our beautiful facility is part of the Florida Historic Golf Trail. Built in 1924 with sand greens, Former Florida Governor Cary Hardee was the club’s first president.
The Suwannee Country Club is located in the City of Live Oak in Suwannee County. In 1924, the Live Oak Golf and Country Club was organized for the purpose of acquiring a site and building a golf course. A site was chosen several miles east of town and a 9-hole golf course was open for play in 1926 with sand greens.
The elevation changes, small challenging greens and scenic White Lake top the list of what makes our club unique. We have nine unique golf holes with different sets of tees that change the holes for the back nine with a par of 72.
Amenities include new EZ-GO golf carts, driving range and putting green, banquet room and kitchen for members and rentals, deck overlooking White Lake and a beautiful, challenging golf course.
